It’s no secret that I love little people. And so it won’t come as any surprise that I am pretty enamoured with Harriet’s little friends at school. She has known many of them for over three  years, and so we’ve had the pleasure of watching them grow from babies into dear little girls and boys. You know, like this.

The kids are all starting school next year, and so had their kinder Christmas / farewell concert on the weekend. One of the lovely Mums suggested that the girls wear their “Harriet” skirts (*) – little chambray flower skirts I’d made some of them for their 5th birthday.

Here they are.

Harriet felt so special that they were wearing a skirt in her honour, and I haven’t been able to drag my eyes away from this photo since. I wish they were all mine!

(*Ironic really, as it then dawned on me that I hadn’t actually made one for Harriet! Had to remedy that pretty quickly).
