Next up

I don’t need any more cushions. Really.

But I do need to sew, so I’m going to get into Harri’s summer wardrobe. Here’s where I’ll start. It’s a gorgeous pattern from Oliver and S, designers who pleasingly think that little girls are allowed to look like little girls.

It’s a bubble dress, much like the bubble skirts in taffeta which made me such a hit at the year 9 social in the mid 1980s. You know, this sort of ilk, but without the ruffle and in black, on that one wild occasion I abandoned navy.

I’m using this for the first one.

It’s called “Blossoming.” I have no doubt that Harri won’t wear it, but I like it just the same.

Now if only I could think of something to make for me.
